Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn is arguably iconic at this point, after nailing her breakout role in 2016’s Suicide Squad. Now, Robbie is planning on creating a “totally separate” spinoff with her LuckyChap Entertainment production company.
To say we’re excited would be an understatement.
Speaking to MTV, she revealed that she’s been working on her “female-centric” Harley movie for the past two years.
"I've been working on a separate spin-off for Harley for a while now," she said. "I want to see her with other women… I kept saying it while we were filming Suicide Squad. I was like, 'She needs her girlfriends.'"
We completely agree—a badass spinoff featuring women produced by a woman? This is exactly what we need.
"I think everyone's keen to get Harley back on screen," she said. "So everyone is working on lots of different versions of what that could be."

Of course, this isn’t even the only Harley Quinn movie in production. The uber-amazing Gotham City Sirens is set to star some of the biggest female characters to inhabit Gotham City, and Jared Leto and Margot Robbie are reportedly set to star in a Joker and Harley Quinn spinoff movie, too.
